The Mighty SPLM Welcomes New Leaders From Other Political Parties (OPP) Coalition

SPLM Secretary General Cde. Dr. Akol Paul Kordit, alongside SPLM Deputy Secretary General for Political Affairs Mobilization and Organization Cde. Koang Danhier and SPLM Deputy Secretary General for Admin and Finance Cde. Baba Medan, chaired a momentous welcoming ceremony at the SPLM House in Juba, South Sudan.

Welcoming the new members to the venue, Secretary General Cde. Dr. Akol Paul Kordit warmly stated, "This is your home, and we are very happy that you took the right decision to come home."

Surrounded by members of the National Secretariat, Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries and SPLM cadres, a powerful wave of 123 leaders, change-makers, and former Other Political Parties (OPP) coalition members made their historic political homecoming to the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM).

Led by the visionary Hon. Cde. Poth Majak Daljang, this group has aligned their political aspirations directly with the principles and programs of the party under the leadership of President Salva Kiir Mayardit.

The political landscape of South Sudan is shifting, and the momentum is unstoppable! Reflecting on this momentous occasion, the SPLM Secretary General Cde. Dr. Akol Paul Kordit emphasized that this is more than a political transition, it is a resounding affirmation that the Mighty SPLM remains the true historic home for every citizen dedicated to a prosperous, united, and peaceful South Sudan, welcoming all who believe in a stronger, brighter future for our nation.
