SPLM Resource Mobilisation Committee Holds Meeting with Presidential Affairs Minister

The SPLM Resource Mobilisation Committee delegation, led by Cde. Lam Tungwar, has held a meeting with the Minister in the Office of the President Cde. Africano Monday to discuss the activities and priorities of the committee as the party prepares for the upcoming December 2026 elections.
The meeting focused on the work of the Resource Mobilisation Committee and its role in supporting the SPLM’s preparations for the elections. The delegation briefed the Minister on the committee’s ongoing activities and discussed possible areas of support and coordination.
The engagement also followed up on a meeting held in September between the Resource Mobilisation Committee and His Excellency President and Chairman of the SPLM, Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit. During that meeting, discussions centred on the activities of the committee and its contribution to the party’s preparations for the upcoming electoral process.
The latest meeting provided an opportunity for the committee to further engage the Office of the President on its resource mobilisation activities and to strengthen coordination in support of the SPLM’s programmes and preparations.
Cde. Lam Tungwar, who led the delegation, reaffirmed the committee’s commitment to carrying out its responsibilities and supporting the party as it works towards the December 2026 elections.
